WHAT WE DO

The Villanova University Cheerleading Program is committed to developing well-rounded individuals who are dedicated to supporting the athletic teams at Villanova. The program strives to represent the Villanova community in an honorable manner that is indicative of the Augustinian tradition upon which the University was founded. The program is focused on building character and a sense of self-fulfillment and self-confidence in its team members. By participating in the program, individuals learn life lessons that will help them grow individually and as members of a team. A key component of the program is its commitment to the individual's top physical conditioning and safety.

The Villanova Cheerleading team is committed to cheering on all areas of Villanova's activities, through their presence at all Villanova Football, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball games, as well as multiple other sporting events throughout the year. Aside from athletic activity, the our team attends many appearances in the community, ranging from Day of Service to coaches' brunches to birthday parties throughout the Philadelphia area.

As a part of their season, the team also attends and competes at the UCA College Nationals Cheerleading Competition. In past seasons the program has entered in the small coed division, as well as the small all girl division. In the 2018-2019 season the Villanova cheerleading team placed 7th in the small all girl division.
